Just a prayer…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for another day!

Thank you for the breath in my lunges, the roof over my head, the food in my stomach, the people you have put in my life that love me, the people you have given me to love, the gifts and talents you have blessed me with, the ability to choose to do hard things, and for the challenges you have put in front of me.

You are such a gracious God and you have given me so many things to be thankful for! My God, I put my faith and trust in you to lead me to the light and through the darkness of the world. 

NEVER LEAVE MY SIDE!

I trust in the path you have laid out for me and pray that you give me the sight to see the next step and the wisdom to discern the direction you are pulling my heart from the tug of my own desires.

Lord, I pray that you continue to give me the strength, courage, and bravery to do what is right and persevere through the challenges you place in front of me.

Don’t make the journey easy lord. Push me to be better with every decision I make and use them to make me a stronger disciple of your word so that I can spread your love to others.

Make my words clear and help me speak to the hearts of your children.

I pray that those who are lost can find strength in you. I pray that you watch over my loved ones and keep them healthy and safe. Place your guardian angels around them and protect them from the dangers of this world. I pray that they are able to see the work you are doing in their lives and give them the confidence to spread your love to those around them.

Lord, bless this day and help us to use our gifts given by you to bring light to the darkness.

Forgive me of my sins, wash me clean, and make me new.
